Off the beaten path

More activities for Eifel explorers

Sink the ball while golfing, cast a line while fishing, and dive into the volcanic waters of the maars: Those visiting the Eifel have plenty of leisure options. Not only do hiking trails, bike paths, and motorcycle routes beckon you into nature, but there is also much more to discover for every taste. Our unique location in the Eifel gives you the ideal home advantage: Many attractions and activity starting points are in close proximity to the hotel.

Golf

Twice the fun

Within the vicinity of our wellness hotel, you will find two picturesque 18-hole golf courses. The Eifel Golf Club, a 70-hectare natural golf course, dazzles with stunning views and diverse fairways. The Lietzenhof Golf Course impresses with its length, elevation changes, and the spectacular 9th hole located on a peninsula in the middle of the pond.

Fishing

Big catch

The maars of the Vulkaneifel are not only beautiful to look at, but they are also rich in fish. In the Meerfeld Maar, the largest body of water in the volcanic craters, you will find substantial pike stocks. The Kyll River is also suitable for competitive fishing and fly fishing. Particularly “convenient” is the Gerolstein reservoir located right in front of our house. Tight lines!
