Gerolstein is the starting and ending point of sections 9 and 10 of the premium hiking trail Eifelsteig. And it’s not to be underestimated: It leads through the Eifel National Park and the South Eifel Nature Park, passing craters, maars, and Dolomite cliffs. Backpack packed?
